€75 million investment planned for Eemshaven-Arendal ferry connection

The proposed ferry route between Eemshaven and Arendal has moved a step closer to reality, with new details emerging about the infrastructure required to support the service.

According to regional reports, around €75 million will be needed to develop a new ferry terminal and harbour facilities in Eemshaven. The plans include the creation of approximately 7.5 hectares of new land, two ferry berths, roll-on/roll-off facilities for vehicles, a passenger terminal, customs facilities and parking areas.
